The Role:

Our client is ideally looking for an experienced steel trader to join their team, however they will also consider experienced traders who have worked with other building construction material.

Travel is essential in this role, both Nationally and Internationally and the successful candidate will understand what it takes to be successful in this role. You will thrive on being an intrapreneur, with the safety net of the business, while working at a fast pace and running campaigns to support your overseas commitments.

To apply, you will need:

• Prior experience in Trading
• Knowledge of Shipping and Logistics is a must
• Strong Knowledge of the Steel industry, or construction/ building material trading (long products, tubular products, flat steel products)
• Previous experience with sourcing and supply of materials, both Nationally and Internationally
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• A thorough knowledge of how markets operate
