Join our client’s team and you’ll get to work at Queensland’s largest independent Chartered accounting firm located in a fantastic riverfront CBD location, One Eagle, Waterfront Brisbane. Our client specialise in providing accounting and advisory services, including business advisory, audit, tax, forensic, and restructuring, to local and international clients.

Your Opportunity

As a valued member of the team, you’ll dive into a diverse array of marketing and communications projects. Your role will involve close collaboration with the directors and managers, offering you invaluable insights and mentorship along the way. Our client prioritise your growth and development, ensuring you have the support and guidance needed to flourish in your career journey.

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Coordinating and assisting with all aspects of event planning and execution, including invitation design, managing RSVPs, preparing printed collateral, arranging catering, managing suppliers and any other event elements.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the WordPress website, including uploading articles and updating content.
  • Assisting in managing the CRM and email communication systems.
  • Contributing to the creation and editing of marketing materials such as collateral, social media content, and newsletters.
  • Managing and overseeing stock inventory for promotional merchandise.
  • Implementing the social media strategy across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram platforms.
  • Generating social media reports.
  • Assisting with market research initiatives.
  • Assisting with the production of webinars as required.
  • Providing support to the marketing team with ad hoc tasks as needed.

What you need to succeed

  • A degree in marketing or currently completing one
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated work ethic, flexibility, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency with marketing tools, including WordPress, Canva or InDesign, and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with webinar or podcast software desirable
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
