About the Job:

A rare opportunity has arisen for a detail driven Insolvency Accountant to join our client’s Forensic team. You will ideally be a qualified Chartered Accountant from an insolvency background, possibly with exposure to forensic work.

This is a great opportunity for an accountant with an insolvency background who is looking to get into this specialised forensic field.

Your writing ability and communication is integral to the forensic accounting area – this role is all about producing articulate, detailed and accurate reports. You will demonstrate your exceptional command of the English language when writing reports and your attention to detail will be second to none. In the forensic team, you will have exposure to a variety of complex and challenging work. This will include valuations, matrimonial and litigation matters as well as special investigations.

This role offers a hybrid working style, with the flexibility of working from our client’s modern offices in Brisbane CBD, and from home.

About You:

  • A passion and interest in Insolvency and/or Forensic Accounting.
  • CA qualification with 2-5 years public practice experience.
  • To be a strong and driven individual and happy to work in a collaborative manner, or autonomously to achieve success.
  • To have a high command of the English language both written and verbal, with a clear professional phone manner.
  • To be highly organised, with excellent time management skills.
