Here are five of our favourite acts of kindness you can do in the workplace:

1- Write a letter of encouragement - One of the best ways to brighten someone’s day is with a positive comment, and it can be as simple as a brief note of appreciation.

2- Surprise another team- Show your appreciation for another team or department's contribution by surprising them with some thank-you treats.

3- Introduce yourself to someone you don’t know at work - it broadens your interactions and helps expand both of your networks of work friends.

4- Give a shout out to an employee during a meeting - it's an excellent way to recognise them for something outstanding they’ve accomplished recently.

5- Start a kindness wall - It doesn’t have to be fancy—it could be something as simple as colourful post its with words of appreciation and encouragement. Invite everyone to contribute their own messages.
