Key responsibilities:
- Livestock Handling: Participate in mustering, yard work, and cattle health monitoring using low-stress stock handling techniques.
- Property Maintenance: Assist with fencing, weed control, and basic machinery repairs.
- Pasture Management: Support rotational grazing plans, pasture budgeting, and paddock improvement strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate digital records of livestock performance, treatments, and operations.
- Business Operations: Contribute to strategic planning, infrastructure development, and policy implementation.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Animal Handling: Knowledge of or willingness to learn low-stress handling methods using horses, motorbikes, and working dogs.
- Practical Skills: Basic competence in fencing, machinery operation, and general property tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Flexibility: Adaptable to working independently and in a rural environment.
Qualification and Requirements:
