Receptionist & Database Administrator (Full-time)

Our Client is a leading full service mid-tier firm located in Brisbane’s CBD.

A rare opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, enthusiastic, reliable and detail-driven professional receptionist to join the team.

The Role:

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

You will be the face and voice of the firm and the first point of call for clients. You pride yourself on your customer service and communication skills. You love to problem solve and find satisfaction in seeing a task through to the very end.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Greeting clients, visitors and suppliers
  • Answering and directing incoming calls
  • Placing outgoing calls as directed by the Practice Manager and directors
  • Complex database administration
  • Coordinating the bookings of several meeting rooms
  • Coordinating car park bookings
  • Online lodgement of tax returns and ASIC forms via the practice software
  • Organising catering and room set up for training and functions
  • Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as directed by the practice manager

A large proportion of this role involves the administration of our client database. This requires you to have exceptional attention to detail and an aptitude for navigating and learning new software.

To be successful in this role, you possess the following attributes:

  • 1-2+ years previous experience in a similar or administration focused role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Professional phone manner
  • Impeccable personal presentation
  • Technologically savvy
  • Proven track record of reliability
  • Experience in a client or customer facing role
  • Experience in a professional services role will be highly regarded
