Mobile Bookkeeper/Accountant | Full Time

Pilot Partners is a well-known, established and outstanding accounting practice in Brisbane’s CBD.

We are looking for an accountant or experienced bookkeeper to join our existing bookkeeping team. You will be working with a consistent set of clients providing them with bookkeeping assistance on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. This role would be ideal for someone who is looking for full-time work and would enjoy the flexibility of working from our client’s premises, back in the Pilot Head Office, and at times from home.

This role may require you to visit several locations in one day. As such, this will need to appeal to you and you will require a valid open driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

You will be supported by a team of accountants that are there to assist you with providing our clients with the accounting and bookkeeping support you need. You are energised and driven in your role and your attention to detail is exemplary. You love interacting with people and enjoy helping your clients meet their reporting obligations. You are proud to be the face of our firm and love to build long lasting relationships with clients. We are looking for someone who is wanting to embrace the role rather than supplement their existing client base.

We will provide you with:

• IT hardware equipment, software packages and the associated support
• Reimbursement for car usage and road tolls
• The support and security that comes from working for an established accounting firm.

Your day to day duties will include:

• Providing our diverse clients with bookkeeping support
• Production of monthly financial reports
• Bank and general ledger reconciliation
• Processing payroll
• End-to-end bookkeeping and reporting

We need you to have:

• Extensive experience using Xero (certification preferred)
• Extensive experience using MYOB
• Experience providing end-to-end payroll support
• Proven reliability
• The aptitude to learn quickly and take on new skills
• The ability to take full responsibility of a small set of clients
• The ability to be flexible and adapt to change
• Experience working closely with clients
• Prior experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
• A can-do attitude
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A relevant qualification
