Our client is a well-known, established and outstanding accounting practice in Brisbane’s CBD.

We are looking for an accountant or experienced bookkeeper to join our client’s existing bookkeeping team. You will be working with a consistent set of clients providing them with bookkeeping assistance on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. This role would be ideal for a degree qualified bookkeeper, looking for a change, you would enjoy the flexibility of working from our client’s premises, back in the Brisbane CBD Head Office, and at times from home and you will love the support that comes from having an experienced team of accountants behind you.

This role may require you to visit several locations in one day. As such, this will need to appeal to you and you will require a valid open driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

You will be supported by a team of accountants that are there to assist you with providing our clients with the accounting and bookkeeping support you need.

We will provide you with:

  • IT hardware equipment, software packages and the associated support
  • Reimbursement for car usage and road tolls

Your day to day duties will include:

  • Providing our diverse clients with bookkeeping support
  • Production of monthly financial reports
  • Bank and general ledger reconciliation
  • Processing payroll
  • End-to-end bookkeeping and reporting

We need you to have:

  • Accounting Degree qualified
  • 2+ years experience completing similar day to day duties
  • Extensive experience using Xero (certification will be highly regarded)
  • Extensive experience using MYOB
  • Experience providing end-to-end payroll support
  • Proven reliability
  • The ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Experience working closely with clients
  • A can-do attitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail
