About the role

Our client has experienced a period of fast growth and are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their  Brisbane head office in Murarrie.  The role works closely with the Chain of Custody Manager and is  responsible for managing all freight bookings as well as other office duties, as directed.

As a key member of the logistics team, you will be a strong communicator who is capable of juggling multiple tasks at the same time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Schedule all collections received through the CRM system
  • Liaise with clients to pack equipment on site for pick up
  • Liaise with couriers or onsite staff to pick up collections, issue resolution
  • Liaise with security and docks for building access
  • Liaise with the warehouse to ensure timely arrival of collections
  • Schedule deliveries via the despatch register into calendars, and manage driver schedules
  • Manage incoming customer calls and emails relating to collections and provide solutions
  • Supply and update collections paperwork to couriers, and drivers and upload into CRM
  • Support the warehouse receiving staff in the identification of incoming equipment
  • Prepare asset lists to assist with reconciliation as required
  • Other administration duties, as directed

About you

You will be asked to demonstrate the following competencies required for the position:

  • 1 + years’ experience in an Administrative environment
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with a good eye for detail.
  • Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems [preferred].
  • A knowledge of couriers is highly desirable
