ICT Equiptment Processing

Our client is a leader in ICT disposal and deployment specialising in remarketing, installation, decommissioning, secure data destruction and repair of ICT equipment. Expansion has resulted in a fantastic opportunity for a ICT Equipment Processing Technician.

The Technician will be responsible for maintaining quality standards through Check In procedures and be an effective team member that contributes to the department Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Your key responsibilities include:

• Testing and Checking-in Stock
• Test electronic ICT equipment and obtain product specifications
• Assess product quality and grade of equipment
• Complete Data Destruction of electronic media
• Record product specifications and quality into asset management system and label equipment
• Clean equipment
• Complete minor repairs
• Sort equipment and send to appropriate departments
• Assisting the warehouse team members when required

Your skills and qualifications:

• Experience working with ICT Equipment, PC’s – Desktop & Notebooks, Peripheral Equipment
• Previous warehouse experience
• The physical ability to handle repetitive work
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
