Digital Marketing Strategist (Full-Time)

Our client, Brisbane’s leading digital agency, is looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist to join their team.  

Their Digital Marketing Strategists bring entrepreneurial thinking to our cross-functional teams to develop and evolve ideas that bring together business objectives and consumer needs.  

They want someone who knows how to “move the needle” for our clients.  Someone who is pragmatic, and can find a solution to keep things moving, when the ideal scenario is rarely possible.  They’re looking for someone with the integrity to spend our client’s money like it’s our own, and with the experience to deliver strategic direction with confidence.  

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital channels, and the ability to apply this knowledge into creative and bespoke solutions for a broad range of clients.  They will go deep to truly understand the customer’s experience and motivations and will design experiences for meaningful outcomes for both business and their customer.

This is a client facing position, you’ll be expected to learn your client’s brands and understand their customers.  You’ll have an ongoing relationship with these clients and build a rapport by delivering helpful insights and ongoing improvement to their digital platforms.

  • Strong capability in strategic thinking for digital marketing and execution of strategic plans
  • Strong understanding of data collection and analysis
  • Strong experience in optimising campaigns and websites
  • Experience in online media strategy and planning
  • Experience in content strategy 
  • Experience in social media strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail particularly with numbers 
  • Ability to collaborate with a broad and dynamic team to develop and deliver on a campaign plan
  • Experience in ecommerce, lead generation and/or high involvement purchase decisions is advantageous
